Block Area Maths

today I'm going to talk about what I did for maths! So lets get into it!
this week we were learning about area it was very fun for me but i think you will have different ideas about it. but here is the picture about what i did i also put squares or rectangles to help me with my animal area. I learned that there is a rule but you don't have to use it. but the rule is the withe and length i'm not really sure how to spell the withe though.

Learning All About Me

During cyber smart last week we were learning about how to not use copyright pictures.I learnt that we need to have the permission for the images online. For this task i was doing i had to use the explore tool or unsplash which is a website you can go to,to borrow images.we had to fill in the boxes that tells about us like what food we like and more! here is the link to the cyber smart web site !

During this task it was really hard to make the photos fit into the boxes because we had to crop and fix the photos. but we had help because there was lines to help us crop it. but all though it was fun. also we couldn't stretch it cause it would be wonky.

so i have been learning the four elements in writing or it was seven I'm  not quite sure. but the elements that i remember was hear,touch feel, see, and that's all i remember!

today I am going to tell you what i have been doing for maths! 

today we had to post about some maths! :) like what have we doing i guess.

so I have been doing "A written method for Addition"

i found out that it is often used when numbers are to large for efficent 

and it is not like normal well it kind of is. is will be like....

358+234 instead of that it will be: 358

                                                    +234

During reading time we read a story. Our group had to read the Beast of Mogil. It is a story about this alien called Meep also this guy called Tim. He was going to help Meep get the king or else the king will beat Meep! But the wild beast was Rusty Tim's cat so when Tim helped Meep put Tim back home.

Room three had to write the characters,setting,problem,outcome/solution and the actions that the characters are doing.

I found this activity okay I also thought that it was easy.

Read the outcome to see what was the solution would you laugh at it if you were there?

Read the problem to see how would you feel?

My Adventure Narrative Writing

This week, Miss Lee told us to write a fabulous pobble narrative writing. We had to use tools to help us in our writing like adjectives,nouns,alliteration,Similes,verbs  and nouns also metaphors to. Alliteration is something that has the same letter at the front it also at least has 3 words with the same letter sound of the front. So I tried to use as much as those but normally I used adjectives the most.

I chose to write about a Narrative writing the characters was Storm Luna and her mum.
